We are nearly settled in and haven't really had an idle moment since moving in... we are lovin' our new home and neighborhood! The kids and I are taking off with the Noack-Brown crew to West Virginia for a week. I'm sure I'll have lots of photos to share from the trip and also from the last two weeks when we return. :-) Love to you all...

My women's group (turned singing group :-)) performed for the first time this past weekend for Unity Temple in Oak Park, IL. Blythe's mom, knowing that we like to sing and drum when we gather had asked if we could be "the music" for the lay-service she was leading. Excitedly, we accepted and thus, Ashre was born. We were well received and even asked to perform at a local coffee shop...and asked several times if we had a CD out, which just made me giddy. It was such fun! Hoping that I can get a video copy of our performance so I can share it here soon. :-D

Celebrating Jason's 34th...

Been crazy busy this past week...as of last Wednesday (also Jason's 34th birthday!) the house is officially listed and it's been quite the whirlwind since it's been on the market...two showings booked the first day! We had another last night...there hasn't been anything come about yet, but we have to believe we're off to a really good start! It's exciting, exhausting, nerve wracking...and hopefully short lived!
