1st lost tooth and Brownie Investiture...Tuesday, Nov. 21.
We are nearly settled in and haven't really had an idle moment since moving in... we are lovin' our new home and neighborhood! The kids and I are taking off with the Noack-Brown crew to West Virginia for a week. I'm sure I'll have lots of photos to share from the trip and also from the last two weeks when we return. :-) Love to you all...
My women's group (turned singing group :-)) performed for the first time this past weekend for Unity Temple in Oak Park, IL. Blythe's mom, knowing that we like to sing and drum when we gather had asked if we could be "the music" for the lay-service she was leading. Excitedly, we accepted and thus, Ashre was born. We were well received and even asked to perform at a local coffee shop...and asked several times if we had a CD out, which just made me giddy. It was such fun! Hoping that I can get a video copy of our performance so I can share it here soon. :-D
Ashre: (L to R) Emily, Blythe, Rachael, Q, Megan, me and Anna. Carol (Blythe's mom) is in the back. Missing from the group are Laura, Anna B and Jenny who couldn't join us that day.
